International Quality Standards (IQS)
The IQS Safeguarding & Well being in Schools Award provides schools with an internationally recognised validation of their safeguarding practices and ongoing commitment to developing a safe school. This offers an international accreditation focused on reviewing and strengthening school standards in safeguarding and well being. This process provides a layer of accountability regarding safeguarding in schools. It demonstrates the school’s commitment to embedding robust safeguarding practices across every aspect of their school. This is achieved through an audit process that schools engage in to scrutinise their commitment to safeguarding and well being. The schools that undertake the process gain a quality mark award: IQS- Safeguarding & Wellbeing in Schools Award
